@ DLD1 , yes there is nothing wrong with buzzbox welds as long as you are very practiced with it. however A/C stick is bar none the hardest to weld with especially for inexperienced. you will stick more rods and burn more holes than any other type of welding. tell me i am wrong..... modern...

find a tool rental place and rent a mig its the best option. as far as your pattern goes, as long as you get good penetration and puddle flow and not burning holes u should be okay. and yes you should minimize your side to side action replacing it with a motion that pushes back into...

i fold a piece of sandpaper and get to work. fingers and arm are gonna be sore but all my polishing is hand done. you dont get popeye forearms from using a machine :)

i grew up redneck but despise nascar. i love f-1, kart, and especially the GP bikes. now that we have the miller motorsports park here in utah, it brought all kinds of bike and euro style races . when our only option before was drag racing or dirt track... variety is good!

I picked up this lil 1970 cb100 at work the other day. it is mostly complete and rust free. it has 3500 miles and is cute as hell. new old stock parts are cheap and plentiful from fenders to seats to engine parts. it will be a cake restoration. i restored a 74 kawasaki kz200 a couple years...

is that d.o.t. approved? i am not sure if that would fly on the safety inspection being "rechargeable" and not hard wired to the system. i think its really cool though! and again i am not interested in the skull. i used it as an example of custom lights. :)
