I figured I should just stick with the xs650 frame. The xs500 frame fits me better in hight and it's nice and skinny, too bad the 500 engine doesn't interest me like the 650 does.

Yes I even got a follow up call to make sure I new that I wasnt getting the extra shipping tacked on. I don't think he's seen this thread either. Good service.
I just talked to Dale at Old School Speed and he's fixing me right up. Sounds like a real nice guy trying hard to provide good service keep the parts flowing.

So I went ahead and tried to order the rearsets and triple tree from the Old School Speed site. I put the rearsets in the shopping cart and put my credit card info into the provided spaces and checked out. So far so good. I went back and put the triple tree into the shopping cart and proceeded...
I can't seem to put more than one item in the shopping cart at Old School Speed. If I pay for each item individually I get shipping tacked on to each one. I sent him an e-mail but no responce yet, it's been about five days.

It's to the end of the inner housing. I had six friction disks and five plates before but they were thicker. Now I have seven friction plates and six metal plates. My understanding is that the newer friction plates were thiner and I had to have more to make it work. How do I upload pics? I...
I started this thread a year and half ago. Today was the day that I finally put it together. I used seven kevlar disks from MikesXS and bought one extra plate from him to get my six disk clutch to seven. The clutch stack comes out to the end of the inner hub exactly. I can't find a reference to...
I hope they restore it. I should have left my 73 alone and not rephased it. I run into a problem every time I want parts for it. No rearsets, stainless exhaust doesn't fit quite right. Short swing arm, can't swap on a newer tank, the list goes on.
