Blasting, welding & paint in Sydney

Hi guys, Anyone from Sydney, AU want to recommend someone to weld a rear loop and blast/paint my frame? Preferably a one-stop shop. South, west, I don't mind. I'm running out of time to finish my project before I leave the country and want to outsource this bit. Any recommendations are...

Does this look rephased to you?

They were supposed to do the 277. Obviously just serviced it and forgot.

Does this look rephased to you?

I'm not going to name names, because they're good guys, recommended by other forum members. Obviously just an oversight before Christmas. Hopefully they can fix it quick. I gotta be done by the end of the month.

Does this look rephased to you?

Just got my crank back from the engineers that were doing my rephase. It looks great, been serviced thoroughly. But the pushrods are in the same position as before, where I believe they should now be offset. Am I right about that? They way this project has been going, nothing surprises me...

I've made a terrible mistake. How bad is it?

This is a little embarrassing... I recently had my engine casings soda blasted. They came back covered in the standard crap from blasting, so I set about cleaning them up for paint. Had a bath of degreaser, bath of dish soap, air compressor to finish. Got distracted during the job...

    Cylinder stud removal

Just had this same problem. Unless there's a really good reason you need to get them out, just leave them in.

Rims & Spokes for TX750 Hub

Damn. Was hoping there would be a cleaner solution so I could just grab a new set of rims from Mikes. Might try and track down the guy that got it sorted before. He's the guy who built the "Thor's Hammer" bike. Cheers.

Rims & Spokes for TX750 Hub

Hi guys, Looking to put some spoked wheels on my cafe build and had to go with a tx750 rear hub, as it was all I could find. Read a thread from a fellow Aussie who did the same, but he ended up needing custom spokes and much buggering about to get it to work. It did seem he was restricted...

Wanted - Front and rear hubs (I'm dreaming, right?)

This has proved quite elusive so far. Not too concerned with condition, happy to restore. Can trade for mags. Any bright ideas?

    Ruined my cylinder studs. Help?

As usual, you guys are legends. And Gary, you're the man. Appreciate all the advice, but you had me at 'why bother'! Thanks guys. I'll be filing down the marks and leaving them alone.

    Ruined my cylinder studs. Help?

Hi guys, Totally pulled apart the engine on my '81 with ONLY ONE STUCK BOLT! A bit of blowtorching sorted that out. But just when I thought i was totally winning, I tried removing the cylinder studs. My first few tries were unsuccessful, so decided to resort to the blowtorch and a plumbing...

Cutting and paint stripping. Advice before I start.

Hi guys, Finally balls-deep in my '81 cafe build and getting ready to strip the paint and cut the frame. Just want a couple of tips before I get started. Firstly, cutting. I'm planning on cutting off the rear loop and welding on a flat one, not too stressed about that. What I also want...

    Omar's Dirt Track Racing

Hi guys, http://omarsdtr.com/ Anyone know if these guys are still doing business? I've shot them a few emails with nothing back and I can't find any dates anywhere. No idea if it's new or old. I'm in Australia, so giving them a call is a little tricky. Thought I'd check with you guys...
