Looking for someone with the skill or a shop to get the cylinders measured and bored to +.5mm and setup with my new pistons and rings for my 1972 xs2. I'm in the southwest Michigan area so driving distance from me would be best, but I'd be willing to ship if necessary to get the parts to you...
Sorry took a couple nights to get back in the garage, life gets in the way :) Tried getting it as close to TDC as I could and took the advance off so you could see the locating pin on the cam. The locating pins on the advance rod are 100% on the same side as well.

I have a freshly built XS2 motor that I'm trying to get to fire with some timing issues. Here's a list of what I've done/tested and the results so far:
1. TDC mark on rotor lines up properly to mark on stator when the pistons are indeed TDC.

Still looking for a rear fender for my xs2. I keep getting leads that end up being 74+ fenders :(
Anyone have a rear fender for xs2 and are serious about selling?

Just began fixing up a 72 XS2 (first yamaha i'm working on!) and I'm in dire need of a rear fender as this bike is completely missing it. It appears that I have the mounting bar, just no fender!
