Just learned about this from someone who sent the above two pics to me. Five grade scale, going from rustbucket to museum quality -- I'm not sure of the exact grading criteria.
Prices seem to be about right for California or Austin. Maybe just a tad high for anywhere else. I think he said a museum XS1 is listed at $11,000.
It's interesting to see what bikes are more valuable than an XS650.
 
$1,000 for a rust bucket XS650 is just wishful thinking, especially here in the plains states.:yikes: This book would be great if you are filing a insurance claim though. Might be a little underpriced for the TZ series. The only book I use when buying a motorcycle is my Check Book.:thumbsup: It might make good interesting reading though.
 
Yea I have noticed the prices have gone up exponentially But how would you price a modified MC?
You price it and hope it doesn’t sell within a day or two.

A custom bike requires a custom buyer. You may have noticed the popularity of choppers has dropped way off. There appears be a strong market for them in California. Trends change. Some folks hang on.
