Thank you all for the great advice. The old bolts had a recessed rubber washer incorporated in the contact side of the bolt head. The new petcocks came with a thin metal-fiber washer that just ain’t cutting the mustard. 👍
Repainted and relined original fuel tank and installed new petcocks but have developed a slight fuel leak around the bolts that attach the petcocks. Is there some type of sealer needed to fix this problem?

In the process of cleaning up my carborators and replacing the float bowl gaskets I over tightened and stripped the threads inside the carborator base in two of the eight screws.What is the best way to repair this Rookie mistake. Thanks for any guidence.
Hey Pete. I have looked at Boats.net as well as Yamahas national service center and this elbow fitting has no parts number. Not sure what other options are out there?
