How did I end up with two “Special” caps? Oh well, that makes sense and I just ordered a classic cap for a ‘77. Thanks for confirming the issue.- Corb

I purchased a nice xs750 tank and was happy to see that the cap that came with it was the same as on my xs650. Happy to use the same key etc. Then... when I went to install it I find that it does not fit by about 1/2 inch. Everything on the tank looks the same to accept this cap, even the same...- Corb
