I recently purchased an 74 XS (TX) 650 and found myself pulling it apart to get it in top shape. I literally learned as I went, searching this forum for knowledge and pointers. Rewired the whole bike while installing signals, rebuilt the carbs, replaced the pipes and plenty other parts, cleaned...

Just snagged this 74 and it runs, but definitely needs some tinkering. Does anyone have any tips on dealing with stalling out when slowly releasing the clutch no throttle? Also with the choke lever down, is that engaging it? When I flip it up, the bike dies. Any info helps! Thank you.
