    So i think this is what you are asking for. With that ferrule all the way in, thats whats on the other end. Is that what you are asking me? I saw another post, the ball bearing is in my housing. Should i start checking service measurements for play?

    Ok, so i am a little jammed up, i bought a new clutch cable from mikes xs to compliment a set of 1” levers on bigger bars. The problem is, it always feels like my clutch is engaged, whats the best way to address this?

    Thank you, that solid state rectifier got me working. When i got my new alternator brushes, they looked identical, but they were like folded into? I dont know if i am describing it right? I am getting 14.7 on the high side, i can see the battery climb when the bike starts, thank you all so so much!

    Tach cable

    Am i missing some kind of adapter for the cable? I got a cable from mikes, and it looks sorta like a speedo cable. Does anyone have pics of a 76 xs650 tach hookup?

    Yes they are. I had some fouled out plugs, one side wasnt hitting. I had to trim back the plug wire a bit. But i see spark on both sides.
