This is a stupid question but, the use of a one-piece pushrod on a later model machine still requires the use of (2) ball bearings, correct? One in the motor and one cam actuator? Thanks,

Seems like a long shot but the 78 is offically an antique. I'm looking for a 1978 Kansas cycle plate to put on it. County not important but would like to find a Sedgwick plate. Let me know if you have one..... Thanks,

I've got a bearing whine in what seems to be the cam area. Question is, if I tear the motor apart will I be able to tell if the cam bearings are bad by visual inspection? I'd hate to go through the hassle and expense of replacing them only to find out thats not the problem. I plan on also...

What is involved in removing and replacing cam bearings? Can it be done without removing the head?
