winterizing

Hey guys. Last fall I replaced the shift shaft on my XS, it went through the gears just fine, the bike sat all winter... I thought maybe it was nice enough to ride today, and now it won’t go into second. For what it’s worth, I also removed my kicker, since the tab for the spring on the engine...

This Fortnine guy is sometimes informative, sometimes humorous.... always entertaining. So, what are y'alls thought on winterizing the fuel system? Fill it up with non-alcohol blended fuel and call it good? If there's a general consensus here on the forum, I couldn't find it.
