Hey guys, I have 78-79 bs38 carbs on my bike. Is there carb holders with vacuum barbs available? If so, part # or location to find them would be great. My old ones don't have them and has a squeaking air leak. So I'm buying some and would like to be able to hook vacuum gauge up to them to sync carbs. Thanks

BS38 carb sets from 1976 through 1979 have threaded ports for manometer barbs; you only need barbs in the carb boots if you're using vacuum petcocks. 650 Central sells quality mounts that will probably last longer than the rest of the bike.

For what it's worth, the non-barbed holders can be found cheaper. The plug on the outside of the carbs are M6-1.0. I couldn't find locally any vacuum barbs in that size, but found them cheap on eBay. Others have suggested a metric grease fitting with the check ball drilled out.
