Wanted - Engine Case

So, in an effort to rebuild my engine, chipped part of the engine case off. : ( So, i need a new bottom half of the engine case. Any one have an old scrapper for sale?

Right, a set of cases is what you need, Brandon. In production, the bearing seats were bored with the case halves joined ("line bored"), for accuracy. Each case half is stamped with the same number, to avoid mismatching. You'd be rolling the dice if you replaced the lower crankcase half with a unit from another pair.

ok i have a guy from another forum theoretically bringing me one in early december. if that doesnt play out, i will indeed be in contact. Thank you all for your help
