P.A. has 50.00 off = $200.00 on a bender starting tomorrow. The blurb says the capacity is 7/8th round solid; max 16 guage, 2" tube and some flat bar sizes. Comes with 5 round dies and one square. May be a new import as there are no reviews on line for it.
Questions: 1. Has anyone had experience with this particular item?
2. (a) Will the machine accept already bent pieces for rebending?
(b) Would it be safe to rebend the old rototiller bars to something more useful?
I think I have seen pictures on this site of the old style bars cut apart and welded to a better shape, but to me the safety on that would be sketchy.
