I have a set of Shinko 270 tires that have about 2000 miles on them from new. I decided to go with 712’s instead for the more modern tread and tubeless design. The date codes on the Shinko 270 tires are: Front 4.00 x 19 (0817), Rear 5.00 x 16 (1017). I have been running these tires on the tube/tubeless type XS650 stock mag wheels, and have the tubes also. The tubes are nearly new too, having been purchased with the tire install. $80 not including shipping.
