KYB shocks with cooling fins. Never seen by me before. Fins are cut away on one side to allow for chainguard clearance. I think they'd look pretty cool on the right bike, however fairly expensive, although seller is accepting offers.
I googled, and found nothing related to shock absorbers with cooling fins. Hammerheads sort of have fins.
