Wanted - Wanted: Fork nut for XS1B

Greetings.

I am refurbishing a '71 XS1B. One of the fork nuts was so badly seized that both the nut and the threads on the lower slider were destroyed in the removal process. I have located a new slider/lower but am still in need of a nut. There is a lovely NOS pair on Ebay for $350 out of Australia but I am hoping to find a singleton - good used is fine - for a lot less. Are you talking about the fork seal holder that screws onto the lower fork leg/bottom?

There are a couple used ones on eBay in Germany, for about $100 each, shipped. See if this link works for you:

It's a hard-to-find part.

I think a have a couple, but they are rusted pretty bad, if you still need one.
