Picked up a basketcase on craigslist for $300. It was in the process of being bobbed, so I had to weld a few things back on.

in 199-2000 tax refund,, it was burning a hole in my pocket and i,d been toying about a bike since my divorce in 91.. so off i went to healsville in victoria australia ,and spoke to a guy in a small flea bitten shop about motorcycles,, and he first of all tried to offer me 2-3 cbr250rr that were at least 8 years old and then i pulled out mt small amount of cash and he led me over to a tarp in the corner wwhere a muddy /dusty rusty 76 yamaha xs650 was.. he charged up the battery and fired it up.. it coughed spluttered stalled etc..anyway he did a rwc on it delivered to my back door and helped me put it in the back family room... and i,ve never regretted buying it yet...
