yup a pamco question... easy answer??

i just installed my new pamco kit on my 82 not bad pretty easy.. the diagram says hook the green wire to one terminal of the coil and the red to the other terminal.. Do I still ground one of the terminals on the coil or does the green take care of that? Also the red wire is just a power wire on the key on side correct?

Yes, easy answer. The green wire provides a switched ground in response to the rotating magnets. The red wire is just a power wire and is connected to the other coil terminal that also gets +12.

Be sure to do the "snap back" test for the advancer which is very important for the '80 to '83 models.
