Doing 90deg notches is a breeze but any kind of of angled notch is bit trickier.Nice diy tube notcher.
Nah.... a serious DIY'er woulda laminated his own plywood too...That's some serious DIY!
Well, it is metric plywood from Germany... I'm pretty sure it's hand crafted by a guild of artisans in the Black Forest using only discarded bier barrels.Nah.... a serious DIY'er woulda laminated his own plywood too...

Well, my first instinct would be aluminum.... But, since I don’t have an AC tig welder I’d have to gas weld it. I’m not huge fan of gas welding aluminum so it’s most likely going to be steel.Aluminum or steel?
I do...Well, my first instinct would be aluminum.... But, since I don’t have an AC tig welder
Could throw in a dash of new and make it out of carbon fiber.I’ve always made them out of stainless and polished them in the past. Polished aluminum would look pretty good... If I go with steel it will be painted or chromed. Haven’t quite worked out the access door on the top yet. If I had the resources I’d make the horseshoe out of cast aluminum with some fins and weld the back, top, and bottom to it. But that would insanely expensive. I might have to come over and use your welder if I do aluminum. Hmmmm, to many decisions
New isn’t really my style. The thought had crossed my mind to make it out of fiberglass. But I truly detest working with fiberglass.Could throw in a dash of new and make it out of carbon fiber.
