Thank you 5twins, now it makes sense! I have carb holders with vacuum barbs so I don't need them on the carbs. Can I just leave it this way or should I relocate the choke housing so things are symmetrical? Armin

Good! Have you drained/rinsed the tank (is there any rust inside?) and disassembled/cleaned the petcocks? Drain and take off the float bowls of the carbs. If they are less than very clean you should thoroughly clean the carburetors. Are the air filters clean? Armin

The side oil strainer is under the small round cover in the right hand side. Remove also the sump plate on the bottom of the engine and check/replace the oil strainer which most likely is damaged. Check the strainers (and get fresh oil) before you start the engine. Make sure there are...
