My first XS650

With my weak azz peppers.. looks like your cable is a bit long.. there should be a shop in your area that can cut it to size. I use to live in Tacoma ( back when they had the famous Tacoma aroma )…. Lincoln High rah rah.
Once this bug is squashed.... we'll be out there in the fall.... mooch off relatives. There use to be a cycle boneyard in Fife.... I did your " Backfire " up in Seattle once.... also the bike show at the LeMay center .. when they did it (took home first)…. There's a great Italian restaurant in Seattle... with Ducati's on the wall.. great food.
Well you partake that " secret " run to the islands ?

I had the Hugh's/ pitbike Hydraulic clutch setup on the 650 that I sold. It was a little finiky to set up, but it was AWESOME once it was adjusted properly. The most important part is to still have the clutch worm gear adjusted correctly. After that, you MAY need to meticulously bleed the hydraulic clutch setup. After that it should be totally maintainance free.

Heres Hughs original article on why he discontinued them. https://www.hughshandbuilt.com/2013/04/22/xs650-hydraulic-clutch-swap-kits/
Theres a link in that article for how to install and bleed the system. But if you're like me and just cant wait, heres the link to the how to guide https://www.hughshandbuilt.com/2012/03/14/xs650-hydraulic-clutch-conversion-install-instructions/

Enjoy!

That’s awesome man, Iv never heard of any of those things here hahah. Tacoma has a new thing called Grit City Motorcylce Night. Seem pretty cool but haven’t had the opportunity to attend one. Anyway that would be something cool to check out when you’re in town.

I didn’t get a chance to bleed the system today, but definitely plan on doing it tomorrow and this should help a lot!

Is this the valve to bleed the clutch?
