I traded one of my yamaha fz6's for a nice 2006 Suzuki SV1000s .It has alotta H.P. and torque ,Super Fast!!! I'll be taking it to New Orleans next weekend for a track day at the all new NOLA motorsports park and Mardi Gras.

I rode my FZ6 to meet a guy who wants to trade his SV1000s for my FZ6 . There was a super nice xs650 there I had not seen before . When for a test ride on the sv1000s and came back a hour later on my xs650 and the xs650 was gone. Anyway it was a good night and the sv1000s Suzuki may soon be mine!

My Wife and Dog rode my Buell XB12XT to the Vintage meet up Sunday at live oak bar-b-q for some beers excellent bbq and cool bikes and good friends.

The all new NOLA Motorsports Park will host the AMA Superbike Race on October 5-7 . Just 25 minuets from the French Quarter in New Orleans will be one of the longest tracks the U.S. (5 miles ) I will make the first track day on Jan.15 and ride my 2007 Yamaha FZ6 it should be a blast!!!!

I was using castrol GTX 20-50 and its seem to work good but I was told by XS650 central that it was bad for the clutch . I changed to valvoline motorcycle 4 stroke 20-50 . what is the best oil to use in a xs650 in texas where it is always hot as hell .
