All, I am having the hardest time finding 1970-1973 Standard piston rings. Mikes XS only has 1974-1983 will these work or should i find the 70-73 rings. If they wont work what sites sell rings other than mikes.

Since ive got the engine torn apart i might as well put new rings on the pistons, anyone have a how-to or diy? Also is rehoning necessary?

I understand oversized rings will give me more compression. it is a standard stock bore I just honed the cylinders to clean it up... just wondering what size of rings i should get?
