Hey all been a while since i posted on here but ive been around reading old threads finding answers through other people problems for the most part. Now I got my own set of questions that I haven’t found in other threads. (Please link me to others if I overlooked them)
Ive got a 73 motor Hughes...
I have a 1978 xs650 special with stock pipes and uni pods. Does anybody have a similar setup around st louis that would be able to tell me what jets they are using? Would like to get a good baseline before i go crazy ordering jets.

Which UNI pods fit best when using the BS34 carbs with the stock battery box? The UP4229AST (angled) or the UP4229ST (straight)? I will not be running the stock side panels but will be fabricating something up to cover the battery box area.
Thanks
