I have a 19 inch front wheel on my xs650 trike. I would like to put a wider patch on the road, which means a wheel from 15-18 inches, as wider tires are readily available. 19's don't get very wide. I can fab up spacers, rotor and caliper mounting. What could I use that doesn't break the bank?

My manual doesn't list a torque spec for the bolting the rotor to the wheel. It's aluminum so over-torquing scares the crap out me! At the same time too loose scares me too! Any help?
