1972 XS2 engine mods

Is it me or does most od the engine mods (750cc, 277 etc) are done for older model than XS1/XS2? I vividly remember some mods in the 70' with TX750 pistons and Alfa Romeo sleeves. I see that Megacycle has higher lift cams but what about big bore kits?

The early engines can be rephased as well, using the stock crank

I am not crazy on the rephazing idea: I like a 360 twin for it's pulse and feel, I'd like a big bore kit and maybe a cam for more grunt...
