1979 points help PLZ

I have a 1979 XS650 and just got the bike to turn over with the starter and not getting park all the time only once in a while i would like to know what the specs are and how to check them and what else i need to check to get spark , when i get a spark it very weak,

clean the point faces and put in new condensers. If the condensers go bad you usually get weak spark. make sure your battery is charged too.

It's bolted to the frame under the gas tank.

To help clarify what 650sf said, under the tank and on the inside of the left side of the upper engine mount.

Before you do one more thing get new spark plugs. I know of what I speak.
