I don't think they need replacing unless the threads are messed up. As far as strength They hold my 750 kitted engine together just fine.
Just add a few ft./lbs. to the torque value for the nuts on these 8 big studs. 30 ft./lbs. instead of the factory spec of 25 ft./lbs.
