Engine guard for my 1980 Special 650

What's up guys,

I'm looking for an engine guard for my bike and I've searched all over and can't find one. Does anyone know where I can get one?
I don't care if its for another bike as long as it fits.
Any ideas boys, or know where I can get one? The cheaper the better?

You might try a WTB in the classified something would probably happen quicker.

Ebay, they often come up there.
Engine gaurd in the way of forward controls? That's a good question. Most people that use forwards are building a bobber or chopper, and they don't run guards. So you may have to try it and report back.

I have a guard off my 81 out in the shed. Its not pretty, Some rust and looks like its been down on one side but its yours just for the cost of shipping.

I don't think the smaller round engine guards that bolt to the front mount would work with forwards.

The older taller style might, they are bolted higher on the frame tubes.
Something like this but taller.
