Hello everyone. My name is Mike,and I am from Erie, PA. I just picked up a 1978 xs650 for $190 and planning a custom bike. Can't wait to get started. Currently building a custom trike for a customer. Time to do something for myself. I am a WyoTech graduate with honors. I love wrenching on bikes. Look forward to helping out, and being helped on occasion.

Welcome to the site man! Great find for $190. You should post up some pictures before you start on it! What route do you plan on taking?

Not sure what route yet?!?! I have so many ideas in my head. Right now I am involved in a stretched trike involving a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 800. Once that is done I will be able to focus on me a little I hope.

I didn't get a seat with it. I got a seat pan which I will be using. I know I will be hardtailing the frame and using a Harley Sportster tank I have collecting dust. Other than that I don't know much else lol.

Nice to see someone from Erie here. Now if it will stop raining maybe we can ride!!! Or at least people will start bringing their bikes out for inspections!!!!
