Upgrading from those crappy round glass fuses to modern blade type fuses is one of the best thing you can do for your bike.
Something like this. Like $10 at Advanced Auto.

JT&T Products (2450F) - Four Position Glass Fuse Block
I purchased this off Amazon. it is compact and well made, fits the original spot, takes the 1/4 x1 1/4 fuse. You can find poor or good quality in both glass, and blade type fuses.

I never liked glass fuses. They can fail in ways that are hard to tell. Come unsoldered in the caps. Break down in the caps.
The Blade fuses only fail in one place, right where they should. The blade fuses are much better.
