Pepsi (dog) says: 'my Momz choppa bike needz at least one good lookin' thing on it..butt we ain' gots nuh muhney.....so we wud be so mush appreeshutiv ta win..........woof!'
Here is my '75 650 with a rear disk conversion, would be sweet to have that Brembo setup on the front! The only thing I have left to figure out is a few electrical things and the brakes!
I'm 987km away from home, so no work is going forward right now. But this is my own personal money pit!
Doing a ratt-ish street fighter theme with a bit of chop influence. The gauges have been low-mounted, I'm using a low-rise superbike bar, considering an aged copper rear fender and copper expanded metal air/battery box, rear wheel will get the white paint treatment and polished brake backing plate. The shocks on it now are just placeholders. I'm considering relocating the top mounts and going with shorter shocks, and a thin seat, maybe build/bend/mold a piece of 1/4" plywood, maybe stain it cherry to offset the copper rear fender...
That gorgeous Brembo brake would be magnificent!
Then let Pandemonium reign!!!
(p.s. please forgive the flat front tire... *blush!*)
She's a BEUT ain't she!!? trying to get her running prime for the new year. I miss riding so damn much. The stoppers could definately use a little help. Lets try it out eh?
Here is my first attempt at doing a bike.... I got this '75 XS650 a 1-1/2 years ago and had intentions of chopping it, but it was in pretty decent shape so I choose not to.... After researching a bit I found that a lot of the parts were different year models so I decided to get busy on it a couple months ago...... Here is what it looked like the day I got it...
Here's my college budget bobber. First build for me, picked it up last may and built it over the summer. 1977 xs650. She has no rear brake setup, so some new front brembo's would be hugely useful. Might help to keep this one out of the back end of an audi....unlike my old shadow ha.
