going back to stock but how to wire

I put in a pma but have had no luck with it. I want to go back to stock charging system but I have a question. on the stock rotor it has a 6 pin connector and then a yellow pin outside of the housing. does any one have a wiring diagram so I can hook that connector into minimal wiring system. its a 77 with a headlight taillight and that's it. let me know if you can help

There are many simplified wiring diagrams on the "Some wiring diagrams thread". It can be found in the XS650 TECH section under Electrical.
I like this diagram. It shows the basic points diagram with the combo reg/rec and TCI ignition in boxes, The E-start is up in the right corner.
Just swap thing around to match what you have.
By the way, Where upstate? I live upstate myself.
