Hello my name is Scott I wanted to introduce myself to everyone and tell you how excited I am to finally have my own XS650. I purchased a 1979 XS650 Special last week I do not know a lot about the mechanical side of motorcycles but looking on this forum i felt like it was something I could handle with all of the help from everyone from this forum. Thanks to everyone that has posted pics of there bikes, that gave me the motivation to finally grow a pair and get dirty and make a bike of my own!

Were as eager, if not more - to see the xs650 stay alive and running (to include yours)
