Hello my name is Scott I wanted to introduce myself to everyone and tell you how excited I am to finally have my own XS650. I purchased a 1979 XS650 Special last week I do not know a lot about the mechanical side of motorcycles but looking on this forum i felt like it was something I could handle with all of the help from everyone from this forum. Thanks to everyone that has posted pics of there bikes, that gave me the motivation to finally grow a pair and get dirty and make a bike of my own! :bike:

Great to have yeh

pretty much any question ask can be answered here when it comes to the XS650
Were as eager, if not more - to see the xs650 stay alive and running (to include yours)
so ask around with whatever question you got. And don't forget to use the search box at the top to get the quick answers your looking for.

And we always love pics, so if you got any throw em on

Welcome :bike:

Welcome Scott, these Guys will help You out with any problems, and if they cant tell You how to fix it, they will point You in the right direction. And :wink2: If you also have a Harley, dont tell them.....:(

Welcome to the forum. Great stuff on here. Make sure you check out all the good info in the "tech" section and remember, the "search" function is your friend.

And we like Harley's. We actually have a "I can't believe I spent that much" and "The gas goes where?" support groups on here if you do.
