Is there any diffeance in these rod's

I just picked up a couple of NOS rod's from a local dealer. One has a "S" on it and the other has a "T". Are they in fact the same. The part's guy said it was probably where they were made. But I'd like to hear some other opinion's. Thanks.

Your invoice may even show them as separate part numbers,
256-11651-00, 256-11651-01
They will have undergone the same machining, hardening and testing processes. Difference will be new batch, maybe even manufacturer, so different metallurgy and related physical and mechanical properties.
Do you need to worry? Well, Yamaha were happy enough with them.

But they liked the oil filter too.
