As the title says I am looking for some knee pads for the indented scalloped sides of a 750 tank. I been looking for some time, and I am just not completely satisfied with anything yet. I finally got the funds together to work on a fancy new paint job, and need to get them figured out before hand so I can incorporate them in correctly.

I know C-Los used some from tech spec (http://techspec-usa.com/magento/index.php/62-0006-c3.html).

I just wanted to put this out there in case some one else had some other brilliant ideas that I am missing before I drop 50 quid on tech specs.

Thanks ahead of time.

Something a little different, I've seen similar cuttable/formable adhesive pads used for rifle stock cheek pads, in various thicknesses, from Midway and Brownell's.

What about powder coat? my coater has powder that has texture. you could coat whatever shape and color you wanted and then mask and paint around it. Just a thought.

Yea good ideas, I thought about the powder coat idea, I just want a more dimensional look.

Right now I need to get time to make a template and see if I can make it fit on to the sheet of 12x13 tech sheet. There is some boat grip pads I have found for 50 quid as we'll, (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/400575650256?lpid=82) it's a better deal and it has the adhesive, but it's hard to make the call without having it in hand.

First need to make the template this weekend, to see if it will fit the tech specs.
