What you see now is how it’s gonna stay. You gonna add a slight horseshoe bend there to give the kicker more room or just let it be?
There is a grove in the kicker shaft that the cross bolt passes through, so it has to locate there. It looks as it can come out a little on the kick axle square
Was going to do black with traditional flames, but I’m not %100 sure yet.Lookin good! Plans for paint?
Cool the old skool flames need to make a comeback! I havent decided what I want to do with mine. I've always liked scallops. But I've got all the stuff for pinstriping, the paint may be 5" thick before I get good at it.Was going to do black with traditional flames, but I’m. It %100 sure yet.

I tried my hand at pinstriping years ago, it did not end very well. I tried for quite a while but was mostly unsuccessful. If you don’t have someone who knows what they are doing to guide you it’s very difficult to get good just reading books and watching videos.Cool the old skool flames need to make a comeback! In my experience all your freehand designs tend to be asymmetrical until you get good enoughI've decided that asymmetric designs are the way to go until you get the basics down.
I just used a really big blade screwdriver to pop the seal via the external pry point on the back right corner then gently worked my way around mating surface with a hard plastic wedge until I could lift the top off. What was your method for splitting the cases? Everyone seems to have their own technique.

Yeah, I’ve never really had horizontally split case fight me to much. I cannot say the same for vertical split cases...Simplicity itself!
