Im looking for an experienced mechanic that can help me finish my 79’. I have a 78 engine. 77’ frame with swing arm, rain catcher 18” 19” rims that I would be willing to trade and cash of course for the service.

It needs a shorter kickstand most likely custom.
Tabs for the seat in order to fasten it down.
Top end rebuild.
Peackock replacement.
Gas hose lines.
Tack weld a few things.
Throttle cable replacement.
Front brake rebuild or replacement.
Possibly re wire a few things. It looks really sloppy.

When fixed you ride it some here , then take it home
...that a nice looking bike ya got...

Thanks Moabite. Utah is a bit far for me though. I have found someone in Austin that will be taking care of it.

Jessie, who in Austin did you find. I have a 79 XS that is starting to smoke out the right cylinder and will need a top end redo in the near future.

Looks like Limey Bikes is top notch. Maybe you could let me know sometime down the road your thoughts on the top end rebuild. Thanks.
