Motorcycle Winch

Are bikes like the 1983 Yamaha XS650 be outfitted with winches like the Warn Motorcycle Winch? I am headed on a mountain adventure with my buddies this weekend and I think it would be wise if I had a winch that I can use for emergency purposes.

are you planning on climbing the mountain on your bike ?

I can't think of any situation where you'd need a winch on a bike ?
I would make sure that your battery has sufficient capacity to power a winch under the sort of load you might need...... like winching your bike out of a mineshaft lol

I believe I could find a lighter weight bike to take on a "mountain adventure". Good luck.....
