Holy shit that master cylinder is beautiful!

Are you putting a bunch of old wiring back in? Its a lot easier to just replace it all from fresh, and then you have a bunch of new wiring rather old unreliable stuff.

Thanks Guys!
Tron Yes I used to old harness.
And You are correct about it being harder.
My income being limited I reuse everything I can.
I have had only one wire that didn't want to solder.
So far so good

I wanted going to go with a other flasher but the site didn't use paypal.
So I went to ebay found a flasher that works with my small LED lights.
It was $4.95 shipped from china. how in the hell can they do that

Well hell Carbon, those should work out fine. Nice and small. I'll stop by my local Radio shack and see if they have one for my build.

Nice Carbon! If your looking for a place to put the led's theres 2 available holes on the top triple clamp. I had mine mounted like this. One for high beam and the other for neutral.

This is the wiring harness now.
not so heavy, bulky, but still ugly

And the part pile starts again.

Carb, Great job on the wire harnes... could you give me a quick run-by of what has been eliminated/modified... or point me in the right direction, I would like to have one of the bikes elecrics set up like yours.
I need to read up on LED lighting too... so many possibilities.
Looking great Carb!

Thanks Lester

What I have eliminated
reserve lighting unit
turn signal canceler
3 prong flasher
safety relay
Okay eliminating safety relay does mean that the starter button is always hot after turning on main switch. Also cap off that yellow wire that comes out of the engine.
Eliminating the reserve lighting means lights don't turn on automaticly, and if the low beam burns out the high beam does not turn on automaticly.
I added a light on/off/low/high switch.
Eliminating turn signal canceler I didn't need 3 prong flasher.
I went with LED turn signals so I got a cheap 2 prong LED ready flasher. Thats all that is needed for LED blinker lights.
I found some cool LED 1157 tail light bulbs no mod need for that install.
This is the wiring schematic diagram. "provided by jayel"
I kept the starter so I used the lightly gray section too

Also, Thanks John

Thanks Carb.
So where did you stash all thouse giant connectors that where in the headlight?
Eliminat them or hide them?.....ugly things!
Alot of head scratching behind thouse wires.... think I'll keep the safety relay though :)

Ya want to talk about a thankless job.
It took more hours to drill the 70 holes than I thought it would.
hand drilled with cordless drill.
It aint perfect very much like me.
who ever drilled the rear wheel didn't make if perfect so it should match the rear wheel.
I am going to clean it up with a rotorary tool.
But here is what the front wheel looks like now:laugh:
