My Build Thread.

 Thanks j.
That would be a great plate to have.
I can hear the cop now "I want to run a plate #"
dispatch "okay go ahead"
officer "Hell No!"
dispatch "what in the hell did you say?"
officer "I said hell no!"
dispatch "screw you dumbass!"

Hey John, How's it going Man?
I'm good. the bike has not changed.
I'm on my feet on concrete over 9 hours a day 6 days a week
I'm just to tired to do anything to it.
I have done one thing I have started on the item that will mount where the right front caliper used to be. I have kept that a secret but I will tell You what it is If You don't tell anyone.:wink2: It's a small toolbox. I've not seen one there before.
I tacked it all together today tomorrow I hope, I will tig it up and bring it home and take some pix

Hey I know all about that damn concrete floor Carbon.:(
Oh, your a sneaky one man!:D
I'll keep an eye out for that toolbox, sounds like a great idea.
Now go get some sleep man.

Hey John I got a good night sleep :)
I went in to the shop this morning tigged up the box.
someone through my template away yesterday afternoon. :(
so I didn't drill the mounting holes yet I will after I mow the lawn.
I love mowing the lawn

It looks a little larger than I thought it would.
It should look a bit smaller after I paint it black.
Not sure if I should mount it on the inside or outside.
What do you guys think?

Hey, that's pretty slick brother!:) I'm thinkin' mounted on the inside with some stainless hardware. :wink2:I'm hoping the grass is on it's last leg and gonna be burned out pretty soon around here.:D I've been carting my lawn mower back and forth between my house and my wife's little second hand shop for a couple months now and it's on it's last piece of bailing wire!
Happy Fourth of July Carbon.

I think inside too.
I also think I will make an other one that looks different.
This one will not be a rectangle.
It will be like a large cigar.

This size and shape does hold all the tools in a oem tool bag.
but the more I look at it, it just does not look right, kinda reminds me of the tuning fork struts . looked much better in my mind that on the bike.

my build has really come to a halt now.
me and my triumph went for a wild ride which ended up with me and her hurt.
the bike has cracked faring both mirrors are broken off, bent shift linkage, lenses gone from left front turn signal, and road rash on bottom cowl and left side cowl. not sure about the side clipon.
I have road rash on left shoulder, elbow and down about 6.
I also have a broken scapula. so weeks of healing coming. I cant raise my arm at all.
My full faced helmet did a fine job of protecting my head from much road rash.
My boots also saved my left foot from being ground up too.
the boot is worse for it, but my foot says its going to get me a other pair.
well here is how it went.
me and a other guy were heading west we were coming up to a intersection turning left.
the other guy was in front of me I was 20 feet behind him. but I was on a slightly different line. my front wheel lost grip and SLAM! there we go sliding across the street. thank goodness here was no step up shoulder to slam into. I slid and rolled ended up face down looking at grass. thought to myself "should I get up or just lay here?"
I got up turned of the bike. the deputy was there as I got up. he saw the hole thing. He and 3 other deputies showed up. And I got to tell you they were absolutely the BEST. so props to Lee county deputies.
Well my shoulder is killing me so ill check out now
