Need help with my oil deliver pipe. Bottom nut cracked:(

I was putting my motor back together tonight, went to tighten the oil tube going to the top of the head. The nut on the bottom cracked . Don't really want to pay 76$ for the one from mikes. I have not had good luck with parts from mikes. Is there any other options? Or should I just buy one from mikes.

Another option would be to take the fitting out of the case. Take it to a hardware store and see if you can find a fitting that would thread on to the fitting and have a hose barb on the other end.
I don't know if you will find one but if you do mount the fitting back in the engine. Put on the fitting you bought. Loosely mount the oil line back on. Mark the oil line a bit above the end of the new fitting.
Remove the oil line and cut it at the mark. Use a few inches of rubber hose to connect the oil line to the fitting. Hose clamp to prevent leaks.

You could cut the tube, get a compression nut to slip on replacing the cracked nut and a compression union to rejoin the cut tube or...

Go to ebay and buy a used one.
