Hi to all. New member from south Florida . This is my first XS650 though I have owned other Xs models over the years. The bike needs a bit of rewiring and a starter gear (if I decide to keep the electric start) plus some various small items. Hope to get lots of good tips and advice. Thanks

Welcome to the site. Looks like it has the potential to be a good ride once you get it rewired. Speaking of wiring what is that wire if it is a wire coming out of the top of the side cover. A better picture would help. Don't know how far you have gotten into the bike. The starter gear might not be needed it might just need the starter clip tensioned. Since you are new to the 650 and the site. Lots of good threads on the fix. The tech section is a good place to visit. The google search also covers just about all. How does it run?
