petcock?

Which is the right petcock for my '75? I'm guessing the one on the left which is leaking and the previous owner used JB weld as a gasket, I hope there is nothing else going on there..... I looked in the tank and it looked fine where it bolts up......

The one on the right looks like is the correct petcock. The left one isn't correct.
If he did a good job with the JB Weld that petcock is there to stay.
You might get lucky and knock that petcock of and clean out the JB Weld. You might be able to grind the petcock off, drill the holes out, rethread them and put new petcocks on.
Replacing the tank will be easier.

I just need to find one that looks like the one on the right then.. I can do some pretty neat stuff with a hammer and a cut off wheel and a my tig welder....
