I have the opportunity to get a 1982 XS650 for $600 that looks to be in very good condition, it runs well and looks good. It does not have a seat or a brake light however, and I cannot seem to find many online.
I am wondering if this is a good deal that I should snap up so I can replace them both and ride it around town and eventually hopefully sell it for more than $600.
The bike is pretty much stock, it has some drag bars and a chopped rear fender, lowered a little bit, and a new head light. It is still running the stock seat but I would want to hard tail it so I don't really want to spend a lot of money for a temporary seat.
I am hoping I can get some suggestions and comments from the guys on this forum who have been dealing with these bikes for a lot longer then I have.
