Speedhut GPS Speedometer questions

I have a batteryless bike with no speedo components (cable, drive, gauge, etc were all previously removed.) Is anyone running a Speedhut GPS speedometer on their XS? Any issues I should be aware of? How big is the GPS antenna and where did you mount it?

The speedhut gauges are nice, but be aware they aren't waterproof. The antenna is small, and it needs an open view of the sky for best signal.

Had a speedhut gpa speedo in a previous bike. It was excellent and performed well. But they are not considered waterproof at all so you are on your own. I sealed the back of mine where wires went in and never had a problem but also rarely ride in any kind of weather.

Thanks y'all. I don't ride when it's wet out so the lack of weatherproofing isn't an issue for me.
