Hello guys,

I finally picked up an XS650 project bike I've been wanting to do forever. This fellow had already started the project which I usually shy away from but the price was too good to pass up. Frame mods, powder coated, single seat installed, Peanut gas tank already painted, 12K original miles, two sets of wheels with new tires (spoke and mags) and the best part...900 bucks :)

Anyway, he did not have the original throttle housing or cables. This is a 1983 heritage special originally. I have the twin CV OEM carbs. Can someone provide me a pic of the Throttle cable setup and choke cable setup? I need to order parts but not sure how these were setup, number of cables, etc.

Thanks!

BTW, here's what she looks like so far...

Ok great and thanks for the link. I should have started there doh! It looks like mine is a late model because the choke on the carbs has a spot for a cable end, no plunger or pulling device.

What do most folks do for the bobber/brat look? Do they retain the original starter/horn housing or ?
