I think that's why a good fork brace is a worthwhile upgrade on these. I try a fork brace on pretty much every bike I get. On some they help, others not so much. On the 650, I think it really helped. The brace I'm using was on my SR500 at one time. Being basically the same forks, it swapped right on the 650. On the 500, the brace didn't do much, and I eventually removed it. I attribute that to it being a smaller, lighter bike that wasn't stressing the forks much.
