Hi guys,
I need some help. I cant find good description of tire sizes. I have an Xs 650 tipe 447 from 1977 with 18 rear and 19 stock wheels. I want to leave them without modifing anithing. So i want to stay in original. But! I want to install the fattest tires to the front and rear too. I ám tinking on 4.50, or 110/90 to the front, and 5.00 or 120 to the rear. Would it reach the chain or anithing else? And whats the matter with the front?
Thank you guys so much!!!

I am building a 77 hardtail.
I switched to mags, 19" front, 16" rear.
I have a 19/90/110 in front and 16/90/130 on the rear.
No clearance issues with the hardtail.
See my signature pic.

So you say, that 110/90 19 is good for the front. But what is the matter with the 120/90 18 for the rear? Wouldn t it reach the chain or else?

It sounded like you wanted to go wider. A 130 won't interfere with the chain and i have read that 140 won't either.
Do a search in the garage section "wide tire size" for more info.
It has been widely discussed.
